Motivation Drive 3: Wait, it does not mean what you think or does it?
Wait means to remain in readiness for some purpose and to attend as a servant.
It is important to think of both definitions when someone tells you to wait on your goals, objectives, purpose, aspirations and dreams.
You are not just waiting still in a reactive state but in a proactive state with understanding that your time is coming. Some may call it magic, luck, belief or faith. However, there is no faith without work.
I have seen a few disputes on different laws, formulas, beliefs and religion; Often wondering, if we are all saying the same thing.
It will all work out if you wait. Waiting requires endurance and confidence.
Two quotes that come to mind that I often use are:
“If you stay ready you don’t have to get ready.”
“Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.”
Basically, saying the most important part of waiting is, you must be ready for “it” when “it” comes.
So, if you are someone serving and putting in the work for that job, promotion, offer, money, acceptance letter, approval letter, etc keep on waiting, its coming in due time.
